I was astonished pnce i came to know about the blind advance booking, After price was revealed, I contacted ome of Honda dealer in Isb and he said that out of approximately 20k advance booking, arround 10k are investors.
after price announcement the booking were cancelled by the genuine buyers who were disappointed for price vis-a-vis features and 6th Generation.
I m using city since 2013 and had 4th gen and now currently has 2015 aspire Prosmatic.
I have book now top variant knowing well that its exaggerated price but I have reason for booking that varient.
- I m salleried and i have managed to save money in order to buy this after saving money for almost a decade and after this long I want to keep my self and my family comfortable and enjoy maximum features.
I had options of Yaris and Aslvin top varients but what compelled me to go for Yaris was 3 x features which are not in Yaris being close competitor:-
a. Rear AC Vents as mostly while driving in peak summers, family complaints for not getting chilling effect of AC.
b. Cruise con, as I havent used it ever and now want to use though i m not frequent traveller of Motorway.
c. retractable Mirrors as sometimes in norrow traffic, its really required or when parked to avoid being hit.
and now typical of our society, shy of buying Lumiere to enjoy features like sun roof, TPMS, rear parking sensors but really after market maintenance and resale was issue.
Yaris or Aspire, top varients,
It was difficult decision of choosing but with some difference of 19/20, i had to take hard decision of going for Aspire besides paying 274 k.
I have to bear all this and wait till Apr 2022 for delivery as i dont encourage "ON" or premium money and no way want to pay single penny to dealers.
And really to enjoy my life, I have booked Carnelian red colour though its least liked colour for resale but I m buying to drive it not for resale.
I hope I will not be thrashed for this thread.
