For Islamabad Number, if you follow proper procedure its must. If you use some agent or get your car registered through showroom they will get it passed without inspection (by paying some speed money )

Should've bought fresh tires after delivery. But on the other hand who knows, might've ended up spending a lot more money after delivery on these same tires considering how inflation in Pakistan is.

Yes. Expecting delivery in November. This one was last set with his tyre guy. 12 week 2021 manufacturing. Next shipment of continental is unknown

They're showing up as 22500rs each on tyre point. Bg luxo plus are comparably really cheap at just 8k, nearly 1/3 the price of imported while usually general tires cost about half as much as imported tires. I think that's probably why now I see too many civics just using bg luxos while before everyone used to switch to imported asap.

I have Michelin Primacy 4's on my Civic X 215/55 16. Total around 5-7K km driven, I'll confirm.
I have noticed some side wall degradation on another one of my tires. One was the result of a bad pothole run and resulted in a ding on the sidewall. It hasn't changed much.
But the second one is new, I'll share pics later but for a tire this age, this is surprising and brings back the horror memories of the Advan dB's I had a few years ago. Had to replace them at around 35K km with bubbles in three tires.
Primacy 4's are great grip and comfortwise, both in dry and wet, but this damage is quite concerning.
If I have to replace these early, what to go for, I don't know. It may be Karachi roads, or maybe the P4's are too weak on the sidewalls.

Consider 65 profile next. I also realized about advan db later. Factory touranza were quite old so had lots of puncture. Thought this much puncture are normal at end of 1st set of advan db.

I remember on my mehran early time in 2005. The general radial st wore offnin hardly 30k km when Karachi roads were under development. Got another radial st lasted for 80k. Then went for Yokohama ecos

Most of those imported tires are way too soft for our roads. In my experience generals seem to last much longer with much fewer punctures. And tbh I really have never noticed a huge difference between general and imported tires like some people claim there is. Plus general Pakistan is a subsidiary of continental, so they can't be selling completely substandard products. For the civic size I'd use bg luxos and replace them early at around 30k because of how cheap they are and to always keep fresh rubber. For that civic size at least, the imported ones are really not worth the extra cost.
