Pakistanis are more of an over satisfied nation actually. If we weren't then local cars might've actually been reasonable. And general tires are objectively horrible, there's no way around it. The real problem with our nation is people who defend all sorts of horrible products just because they bought it. That's how we got xli and mehran for decades, could've never happened in an unsatisfied nation according to you.
Speed doesn't matter, acceleration does. City 1.2 could go to 170 and would still feel underpowered cause it'll take ages to get there. Yet in comparison a manual wagon r has a lower top speed but still feels more powerful than city 1.2 CVT due to the much better acceleration. It's very embarrassing if a reasonably expensive car feels slower than 1000cc suzukis and it surely deserves the underpowered tag.
Yes technology has changed a lot yet your love general eurostars have remained the exact same for almost 14 years now. But I suppose you think general made 100% perfection in 2008 and doesn't need to update tires like other overrated imported companies do right? Plus it's amazing how the world has gotten so modern yet a city from the 1990s can outrun a 1.2. Plus the 1.2 CVT is pretty much guaranteed to be a horrible experience in northern areas and that's where power counts, it being able to get up to regular city traffic speeds doesn't mean it isn't underpowered.
Idk why you believe that atlas is such a great company that can do no wrong. Only reason for the 1.2s existence in the city is that it's the only smaller than 1.5 engine available with a CVT and directly compatible with the 6th gen, as it is basically the same engine as the 1.5, just with a much shorter stroke. It might have even been a reasonable option if it was reasonably priced, at its current price it's just insulting and a slap on the face of all pre-bookers.
Yes if 1.2 was such a great engine it wouldn't have only been for Pakistan's city.
Btw are you a 1.2 owner?
