I like this idea that Honda will maintain both generations, 5th because it would be available at lesser price. And many people will go for it. Since its market car and spare parts are easily available at economical rates. And will compete with Yaris. While 7th Gen will compete with altis. And would be 3million+. Lets see. Honda pakistan is just preparing ground for new launch by these rumors and leaks. Following Apple 🤣

If 5th gen was able to compete with Yaris, there wouldn't be any need for Honda to introduce new generation.

In India, honda is having 6th and 7th gen being sold together.

By going above comments, with increased competition, Honda might be planning to have 5th ( with certain features enhandement) and 7th Gen exclusive top of line . This would give them coverage for different segments .

They might have thought of 6th gen, but with multiple new entrants offering better features and looks, change of strategy seems more appropriate.

Let's see till March 2021.

I am not Honda employee but i have 100% confirm report about 6th generation.
If Honda want to launch 7th generation then why they order 6th generation parts to their vendors? Think about it.

If they launch 7th generation then price will be increased too much from competitors in the market and besides I don't think they are good enough to launch 7th generation.We will be getting 6th generation not 7th.

If Honda is launching 6th Gen and its confirmed i would say anyone who is waiting to get new model of Honda should get Toyota Yaris or City 5th Gen. We should totally boycott Honda City 6th Gen.
