Does the same wavelength light emitting through this tint penetrate better through fog?
Yes. Since fog is white. So the normal white/yellow light just blends and illuminates the fog. Contrasting light gives better understanding of edges and lines etc
But fog lights company installed are always white. So do they actually work or do they have to be yellowed too?

No. Only difference in color
Company installed Foglights are mostly white. Does this mean Yellow tint is useless?Or it's the position Only where the Foglights are installed. The lowest position near the road, where fog is less and road corner visibility is needed.?
company instaled fogs are standard for ~2 ft tall fog. the fog i get in lahore is so much that i cant even step outside house. so all 4 lights are tinted. concept is simple. contrasting light illuminates objects better and other drivers can also identify dark yellow in snormal yellow/white glare in fog. throw is same everything is same. normal light blends with fog, dark yellow keeps contrast thats it. dont think too much about it

The normal headlight bulb is Yellow. Isn't it so? Then why another yellowish tint?
Normal light is on yellowish side but not yellow required for Fog.

Yellow wave length is different than white so technically both are not same in same wattage
Colour temperature is important in adverse/inclement weather. It is pretty stupid of the company to install white fog lights. Fog lights by definition should be of a lower colour temperature. Your white light won't give you much visibility in rain either. Unfortunately in Pakistan fog lights are treated like a cosmetic thing to make the car look cooler, and people install white LEDs or HIDs in them. Fogs should always be halogen, if going for LEDs find something with a colour temperature of 3500k or lower.

Safe bet is to change tinted bulbs or yellow ledsโฆ
Because these are for ideal conditionsโฆ always adjust 1-2 pounds according to your road conditions and weather conditions.
Slightly difference but due to high performance these bulbs do not last long
Removal is easy as well. U can use alcohol wipes and clean it up safely. Methylated spirit from medical stores is plastic safe as well and it takes 2-3 mins to clean light after fint removal
