In Islamabad it is necessary. Not sure about other regions. In Islamabad excise they have a biometric counter to do it. Or you can take a printout yourself from any e-sahulat point.

Sir, would you please give the detailed review of your primacy 4 tyres? Now you have driven for 3 days i guess. Does steering feel lil hard after 195 profile? Hows road noise and comfort? Does it effect fuel economy? Or any other issue?

The Primacy 4 are performing well
I must say I don't have a real comparison with the Eurostars, as the car was parked for the first two days due to torrential rain in Lahore and later only drove from DHA to J Rashid & Co at Nila Gumbad for change of tyres.

The drive felt smoother comparatively on the way back. I was advised to keep the tyre pressure at 32psi
The tyres are definitely not sticking out of the sides and cosmetically look good.
There appear to be better stearing control and road grip.
The car itself if better insulated compared to my outgoing Aspire, so difficult to confirm that the Michelin's are quieter than the Eurostars.

As regards fuel economy, the car has only driven 250km so far so will have the initial estimate at the first refill, but as everyone suggests it gets better after 1000 kms.

Overall I'm pleased with the decision of changing the tyres to Primacy 4.

Hey, does anybody here have experience owning the 1.2 Manual City? I've been thinking of buying it but want to know whether it will be as underpowered as people make it out to be. If someone can share their experience, and information about fuel efficiency, any problems or issues with care, I'll be grateful. Thanks!

I had an opportunity to Drive a test drive unit for a while with 3 passengers on board, and I feel that manual transmission is not underpowered, a simple argument, if a car is underpower it would never give good fuel mileage, so 15 average in city and 20 on long well defines that its not underpowered, and yes its not a sports car you cannot expect it would perform like that with small engine and Sedan Body.
Currently I am using FAW V2 which has bigger engine and better body to weight ratio, but my feeling for Honda city 1.2 MT was not very much different.

I understand people often make a mountain out of a molehill on the underpowered issue. I live in Karachi and with the kind of traffic in the city, you rarely get the opportunity to take any decent output from the car anyway.

Since I do have to travel on the highway, and thereafter on a single track link road where I have to overtake with oncoming traffic, I need a car that can keep up. I bought a GLI 1.3 in 2015 that I currently have, got it in manual only because I knew the auto would not be suitable.

Now I'm thinking of replacing that and the City 1.2 MT seems like a good option, but want to be certain that it will be good for highway driving.

ipkiji : Iqbal sab Very logically and very well explained bro. Very mature thoughts i liked it. My colleague has gone Islamabad to Sindh on 1.2 Cvt and back to Islamabad. My first question to him on his return was that did u feel it underpowered. He said NO. Driver and 4 adults plus luggage in trunk as they were staying there for 2 weeks. So u can well imagine the weight of luggage of the full family. Logo na wasay he reviews dal dal k concept sa bana diya huwa ha k underpower feel hoti ha. I have 1.2 CVT and its not underpowered at all with 4 adults on board. Manual ki pick cvt sa zayada hoti ha. Ankhe bund kr k la lain. Theek power ha jitni honi chahye. Races tou lagani nahi han

Can anyone plz share free periodic maintenance for zero meter honda city plz? How many visits Honda cover as they have new policy also - no periodic maintenace within speicific time frame then no warranty
Whats the time period/kms for 1st check up?
Whats the time period for change of oil. In other words whats the life of first zero meter car engine oil? Even if its not driven and parked at car porch.

1.2 manual should feel better than corolla 1.3 manual. If you're satisfied with your corollas power then 1.2 manual city should be good enough for you. Yaris 1.3 manual is also a reasonable option as it's more powerful than the city 1.2 and is also cheaper. Only problem with the Yaris is its looks, if you can live with its looks then I'd suggest Yaris 1.3.

1k Kms checking is free. After that 5k, 10k and 15k Kms oil change would have free labor. Oil change recommendation is 5k for oil and 10k for oil filter. If the car doesn't travel enough, then 6 months between oil changes is recommended by dealers but on the Honda book 3 months is written. My 2017 city's warranty was not invalidated by doing 6 months oil changes.

In reality synthetic oil is good enough for 12 months or 8k Kms but doing that will invalidate your warranty. I've been following that after the warranty expired.

Thank u bro. 1K kms or any specific days which ever comes first. Any such condition? Is it time bound or if i do not follow time frame then will warranty get void?
For oil change shall i follow 3 months or 6 months?
Problem is I m out of country for more than 3 months and left after getting delivery of my car.

1k Kms or I think 1 month. You can check the manual to be sure. I remember I got my 17 city's first checkup after 1 month at 300kms.

For oil change check with your dealer at the initial 1k Kms checkup. If they say 6 months is acceptable and fill the warranty booklet properly then you shouldn't have an issue. On the other hand in cases of engine warranty claims, atlas would probably be looking for an excuse to deny the claim and 6 months may be the reason they use as the manual states 3 months. But 3 months between oil changes is a complete waste if not covering at least 5k Kms. So it really depends on your own risk tolerance.
