I beg to differ specially on the part that 5th gen 1.3 is equal in performance to 1.5 6th generation . 1.5 6th gen is a great treat to drive specially if you had 1.3 5th generation ,Now on to this debate the mathematics doesnt fit in here.
1.2 CVT engine is tuned for 88 HP at 6K RPM with torque of 110 Nm at 4.8 K RPM so it appears on high rev the car is tunned for . Now the same engine has to push a weight (constant for all variants) how can it be more efficient ? as simply weight to power ratio is mismatched
1.5 CVT engine is tuned for 118 HP or 34% more in almost similar RPMs torque numbers are same on the high side as well . How can a car with different engine
s have similar performance ,other than some brain errr cant be explain ,Just my two cents
