even last time i remember rumors were of yaris increase and nothing for honda. then suddenly honda announced too.

Hahahah making it look like Toyota made them increase the price, that's what Honda is after by keeping mouth shut about price increase. Last time Honda not only increased price they also increased the price relative to Yaris and the gap was widened further (result of %age increase, higher priced car becomes even more expensive with % increase)

As city is competing with altis 1.6 throughout city aspire would be around 3.8+ million plus as altis is now 3.9+ million.

Bro your guess may be correct for City price, but I don't think so city is anywhere near competition for 1.6 Altis. Here 1.6 Altis sale and even ON is more than Grande. It's a hotcake from Toyota, whereas City is doing just OK in sales.

City will be competing with Yaris only or similar segmant, and if just comparing price gap between Yaris and City, as per my personal opinion, city price is justfied. But as a whole, these days No car price seems justified.

I have personally kept 2018 Altis 1.6 and new City 1.5 aspire CVT both. Honestly Corolla is level up even with lesser features.

But since Honda has not even increased price and also not revealed what Conditions they will set so dont know for City۔ Honestly speaking Toyota has much better reputation compared to Honda in this aspect lets see۔

Yes it's will compete well. Little goodies in Elantra, then it may give some competition.

Wesay I have driven Hyundai Accent, that's comes with 1.6L engine. But it feels bit underpower as compare to Altis 1.6L.

Ikr about segment, But iam talking about price and we all know sooner or later new generation is comming within 6 months or 1 year, As you suggested me before to keep aspire because of features and transmission and the desicion was worth it altis is good for those who need size. Im getting better average better transmission and alot of shaska features.

Yes features and average and transmission is no doubt is better in Aspire. As I mentioned before 4 speed ECT in Altis is biggest turnoff for me. But as a size and road presence Altis is better. I am also considering Pakistani market and mindset here. Corolla being corolla, waddi gadi, Wala factor.

Wesay, I don't think Indus will launch new shape of Corolla anytime soon. Internationally new shape was launch back in 2019 and already about 4 years in service. May be next year we are seeing next Gen Globally. I think they'll skip or further give any small facelift to current shape. Smoked brake lights are still pending .

I disagree. I think they are at par because each has their pros and cons. It sells like hotcake because of pakistani perceptions which are mostly not correct.

gli corolla was even more hotcake than 1.6. doesn't make 1.3 better than 1.6.

a truly neutral buyer will buy 1.6 altis or city aspire based on his preferences. but yes 1.6 will sale more just because of pakistani perceptions.
