I am in the same boat as this. Does anyone have the inside news? Why are City deliveries being delayed? I was supposed to get mine this month but bad luck.

Is delay because of legitmitate reason or is it a ruse between Honda, banks and dealers to sell for 'own'?

Honda is Mafia like others and always lookafter their interest against the costumers interest .
Many of us are effectees but no botheration by companies and its all covered in contract.
so just sit and relax.
All we can do is pray and wait.

Raise a complaint ,I have the same issue and my complaint is pending at Honda as vendor Techno called me and said he needs to have video (i dont use my car that often so unable to make it) .There is a serious issue of head unit and sound quality ,make it official

I have paid full amount last month and now got late delivery letter,
life is too short to wait for months and months.
i have decided next time I will book the car rather will pay somw On and get the ride.

In toyotas you have tip tronic for manual simulation and sports mode is quite effective in Yaris Ativ X

In City Aspire i feel a ittle deficiency of sports mode

S GEAR is not sports mode. You have a separate sports mode in Yaris 1.5.

There was part shortage in march so no production of city therefore in april first march production will be done and then in second half april production will be done..............Is there any person still pending with march TDD.

own wih log dete hain jin k pass kaafi money ho,
i hardly mamaged to add money from the scratch, making it for 20 yrs almost.
i couldnt afford to pay On and discouraged On everytime even if it was 50 k only

unfortunately mainey is made by the people who have money to buy so many cars on blind booking and then sale on On. and may of buyers are who have money to pay On may it be 3-4 lacs.
I had aspire 2015 and sold for 23 and optimistically booked Aspire 2022 in Aug 2021 for 3174k and started aranging money to pay till delivery and price increased to 3749k by now and then being buyers you start worrying about additional amount to be paid.

now normal buyer has to be frustrated and think that I would have baught some other car.

Here are my 2 cents on this,

S is exactly like the Sports mode in Yaris. Only difference is that in Yaris it is with the press of a button.
L mode is an alternative to put it in the lowest possible gear/max braking (like low gear on a Triptonic?)

Govt directive about late delivery penalty says "60 days after INITIAL BOOKING". All manufacturers are booking on Partial Payment and only considering 60 days after FULL PAYMENT. The question is does Govt directive of Initial Booking mean Full Payment only? Car manufacturers are using this to do partial booking and avoid any such penalty. Govt directive is not clear on it, as Initial Booking should mean any amount even if Partial. How can Ministry be contacted for clarification on this?

Also what is not clear are two things.

1) will the payment be made on full amount or the initial amount and

2) will the payment be calculated from the day of the initial booking or only for time after 60 days.
