I registered via my dealership. I think it’s hassle free via them. They charge a small fee but I basically paid them a visit one day and picked up my plates the next day.

about the mute button only Suzuki Cars come with the mute button, even Toyotas dont have a mute button

Pretty dumb of honda not to give a mute button. The remote has a mute button but doesn't have buttons to change the tracks mute button is also present on sportage's steering wheel.

Why do you need android auto on the aspire's hu?

for ease. using the apps from the screen is a hassle like typing stuff while the car is moving. even if the passenger is doing it. plus i dont want to sign in my actual account on the car and without that maps etc dont have my saved places. android auto would solve all these issues for me

What tyres are you running?
My pannel crashed yesterday. Playing audio but screen stuck on this after boot up sequence. Contacted honda, they referred me to tracking world. Hopefully, it will be replaced in a couple of days.

im running with stock tyres. though not the best i think theyre good enough for karachi road conditions.

both tracking world and honda are lazy af. annoy them each day by calling else they wont do anything.

i knew this unit had a sim slot i asked honda they said we dont know and we cant remove the head unit for me to install the sim. called trakcing world the rep said they dont know and gave me the number of some specific guy in tw karachi. i called him he says there is no sim slot in this head unit. ab aese banday se kya laro me. kher i just use tasker to automatically turn on my mobile hotspot as soon as i get into my car that is good enough too for me.

but yes the point it annoy them daily and ask them about updates on the progress of your case.

Wrong Yaris does have a mute button on the steering.

See on the left hand side of the steering below the volume buttons, you will see mode / hold button when you keep it pressed for 2 seconds it mutes the Head Unit and all related audio.

Get one from the market. Buying through honda will cost you around 52k and in that kind of cash you can get something better. I am thinking about changing my aspire's hu and getting a pioneer avh 5150bt or something close to it.

Ok ok. I thot this button is like a voice command as in the fortuner.

Altho with after market units u can manually program which button does what in long and short press.
