Yes 195 is too big for city. You can check with sheikh brothers if they have 185 in nankang brand. I personally last year got falken zex914 from shaikh traders Faisal town for my old city which have been working well for 20k Kms alhamdulillah. Wanted to buy Yoko ae51 but at that time not a single dealer had nonsmuggled ae51. Shaikh traders is a scammer too, was selling ae51 smuggled with shaikh brothers sticker on it, but the falken was properly imported with proofs and looked perfect.
This year in march for my new city I went for falken zex914 again but this time from Pak Punjab tyre dha. Was cheaper than last time at 11k Vs 13k per tyre. I suspect some date tampering with that tyre but it wasn't smuggled at least. Good thing about less demanded brands like falken is that they're less likely to be smuggled, but the bad thing is that you probably won't find the exact tyre again in the market.
Another issue with 185 size is most brands only make really low end cheap tyres for that size. Like for example continental only has cc6 for that size which is a very poor tyre with just the advantage of having continental name slapped on top of it. As far as I know, of the top brands, only Michelin and Yokohama make decent tyres for the 185 size. Non smuggled michelins are pretty much non existent in Pakistan and imported Yokohamas are always short and yokohamas due to being most demanded brand in our market, have the most scams.
From my old market research the suggestion I can give you is to avoid Bridgestone, pirelli, continental and goodyear, the 185s available in those brands are very low end tyres, not worth the money. Avoid Dunlops because non-japanese are of very poor quality and Japanese Dunlops are mostly smuggled. Nexen has an official dealer on daraz, but the prices are too high for low end tyres. Michelins are insanely expensive and mostly smuggled. If your drive is only in city and you don't find Eurostar too uncomfortable, better to keep on using it and letting the import situation normalise a bit. In current conditions, scams and prices will be through the roof. You can also check with sheikh brothers that when they will get their next shipment.
You can also keep checking the market for Yokohamas, some dealer must be hoarding the old imported ones and selling at high prices. You can also check with the dha dealers, they seem a bit less horrible than Faisal town dealers.
