Thats normal with the passage of time even within city drive. Mine is also showing gaps even within pindi n isl

Front ones are very odd in my case too.

I even think the front bumper is deshaping. Will try to take a picture.

in my case these gaps were visible even in newly delivered vehicle, no increasing trend even after 7000KM out which is 4500KM of motorway drive. But as far as I know its repairable by minor alignment of frames and clips.

it has increased with time and mileage. mine is now over 29k driven in just over a year

Have you guys tried to activate the installed alarm system?

According to the owner's manual, there is an alarm system installed which is armed after you turn the car off, exit the vehicle and lock the car with the remote or the smart entry system provided that all doors be closed and the hood/trunk be closed as well.

The security alarm is then armed and is activated upon someone trying to open the doors or the hood from outside or the inside.

However, I cannot seem to activate it, no matter what I do the car doesn't react to any of my intrusion attempts.

According to the manual, the horn would sound and indicators will flash for up to five minutes when the alarm is activated.

do below to check. get in your car and lock it via key. now open the door from inside. alarm should start now. if not the n take it to dealership for complain

lock the car wait for the red light in the meter to blink. ( alarm activated)

Remove the key from the remote, Put the remote far away. now open the door with the key

The small horn is placed around in the trunk, it starts beeping, The same sound when you lock / Unlock smart entry.

Else with a finger press the door lock light button to mimic all doors closing / locking, after the red light blinks release the door lock (make sure your remote is far away from the car

After seeing these prices, do you consider Suzuki as luxury brand? The reality is all vehicles and its maintainance is getting out of reach for all Pakistanis. Thanks to the poor performing governments who ruled us in past 3 decades.

please go through the prices of Filters/Brake pads/brake shoe of Mehran and Alto. if the same were of some BMW/Audi/Merc, then it was digestable....

Unfortunately the maintenance of Alto 660cc is very expensive as compared to old Suzuki vehicles like Mehran, and old Cultus. Actually, all the new Suzuki vehicles are no more cheap to maintain.

Look at the part prices of new Swift. 5398 for air filter and 2567 for oil filter. Seriously?
Honda City looks cheaper to maintain after looking at this table. Also, the fuel saving benefits that we get from Alto is lost in parts.

Another interesting finding is Alsvin parts are even more expensive than big 3. I found this when comparing the B-Segment sedans before purchasing City. Couple months back I compared the brand-new transmission prices of Alsvin DCT (12 lacs) and Honda CVT (7 lacs) from dealership. Similarly, the price difference is there even for everyday parts like oil/air filter.

Unfortunately, all newcomers are even bigger thieves than the old ones. Most of them are using this strategy. Sell vehicle at slightly less price than big 3, but loot the customer in parts and after sale services. In the long term, they are earning more than big 3.
