3000 km. Seriously? I thought Honda in Pakistan recommends 5000 km or 3 months.
API rating doesn't provide any information related to synthetic. I checked the Honda 5W-30 packing image and it does mention fully synthetic. These oils could last easily for 6 months in severe conditions and 1 year in normal conditions. Unfortunately, not only Honda, but many automakers here in Pakistan are fooling the public with stupid oil change intervals that don't exist anywhere else in the world. Very unfortunate. If your vehicle's warranty has expired, just visit them after 6 months. Don't listen to them.
They are telling the truth in this case. CVT fluid should be changed after every 2 years or 40,000 km whichever comes first. International owner's manual also mention the same interval for CVTF.
Tyre rotation should be done after every 10,000 km on any car, whether it's mentioned in the owner's manual or not. BTW, it's mentioned in the owner's manual as well. Tyre rotation is done to let each tyre wear uniformly. But the question is why don't they rotate them while doing brake service. Why is it offered as a separate service? Do they charge for this?
