Got Es32's japanese made from Zafcom. Ride is more quite but not as comfortable as I had expected. Maybe its the tires or its the City DNA.

Had driven 5th gen for 12+ years - the 6th gen ride is better but very similar to the previous one. I can still feel bumps and pot holes in a very similar fashion.

Reviews had me thinking it would be significantly better in terms of comfort.

Which tire size you installed?

If you have driven a Toyota or a Suzuki previously. CITY is a night mare for potholes.

Initially I had difficulty in adjusting too. I drive Cultus and Corolla very rashly over pot holes now.

With Cith every pot hole feels like a knife in the heart.

Tires only make the ride less noisy and better braking probably.

Yes I drive toyotas and suzukis too but my primary car had been the 5th gen city for over 10 years. The reviews had me with thinking it has significantly become comfortable in 6th gen. It has not...also I'm now kinda missing the stability of 5th gen city...it was stiff but at least it was grippier. The only pro in the new one in terms of ride comfort is the raised height and the seats.

Yes the older one felt more on the road. This is one raised too much, 175s felt to small for the height. I changed tires right after delivery.

Seats are so off in this model. The seat should go down a little, its already raised, With height adjustment on full height you go too close to the roof.

The lowest position of seat is too high too.

There is also a strange raised surface near the front seat which compromise the front leg space. I have no idea what that raise surface is for?

Globally grace/city was hybrid too. It’s not hyrbid here but the raised surface may have been due to hybrid

It's like this since 2004 IDSi. Feels more in 2009/2023 cars because of the seating position.

City's fuel tank is in the middle unlike other cars which have fuel tank under the rear seat.

Front seats go back to a limited extent only hence better leg space at the back, but compromised on the front.

in GM6 the tank is no more under the seat. In the previous model it was there. so they moved the tank to the back but forgot to remove the hump?

hybrid batteries are in the trunk and that explains the extra ordinary depth of city as there are no batteries but what is the hump for near the front seat as there are no batteries in the international model at that very place.

Hain? All this time I've been thinking it only because of the fuel tank. They probably forgot to make changes in the chasis when switching from GM5 to GM6.

It really is problematic for the front leg space.

Should I change oil after 3 months or 6 months if 5k limit is not met?
Should I change CVT after 2 years or 40K? Since CVT too frequent is not recommended also.

6 months oil change for low mileage vehicle

For CVT fluid change, 40,000 km or 2 years which ever comes first according to owner's manual.

I understand owners manual lekin are you guys doing 2years strictly or going full 40k?

My car has crossed the 2 year mark but still under 11,000 kms.

Do you think i should replace the CVT oil, Honda service guy didn't mention anything. I didn't bother asking too.

Dealerships in Pakistan only follow 40,000 km change interval. They don't follow time based change interval.
In your case, you can have in between approach. I suggest you to change it at 20,000 km. That will be after 3.5~4 years in your case for such a low mileage vehicle.

The point is, don't completely ignore the time based interval. There must be good reason why Honda mentioned this. Even the fully sealed can of engine/gear oil have shelf life of approx 5 years or so.

With CVT'S it's best to change the fluid on time.

Once I hit the 15,000 km mark I'll consult the dealership again.

Probably planning a road trip up north after ramzan so will get fluids flushed to be safe. Werna phir il wait for the 15/20k mileage.

Which tires and size you will be riding on the city for trip to north?
