pedal is pretty much the same accross model generations, it does click upon release. Not all the time but it does. You sure the squeak is coming from the pedal? Squeaks could be from other places. The clutch master cylinder. Slave cylinder, slave cylinder rod, clutch fork in the engine bay.

The pin for the pedal, is a simple pin that is greased. The pedal has 3 nylon bushes too that are greased. I highly doubt there would be an issue on these are your car is new.

In my city, there are noticeable pedal and floor vibrations. Seems like road feel. Is it expected, a flaw or due to poor quality tyres? It was there in a previous 1.2 manual and also noticeable in this one, aspire. It is very unique and only annoying thing in this otherwise impressive car.

It makes the pedal not very enjoyable. Specially when I change from sportage (which has a probably the best feeling bottom attached pedal) to this.

Seems to be tyre related, due to the low quality factory fitted tyres. I upgradred the tyres immediately after getting the car to Yokohama's BluEarth-GT AE51, size 185, and have no such vibrations.

I didn't notice much difference as I didn’t drive enough on the original factory-fitted tires to compare fuel consumption accurately. However, I did feel a big improvement in the driving experience, especially in terms of comfort and noise reduction. The GM6 Honda City already has good ground clearance, so upgrading to 185/65/R15 tires met my needs for comfort and quieter rides. In my experience, going for larger tires would just add unnecessary costs, lower fuel efficiency, and make the speedometer less accurate.

Tyre guide for Honda City Aspire 2023

AOA. I have recently purchased Honda City Aspire 2023 having stock tyres Euro Star 175/65R15. I am too confused to change tyre size to either 185/65R15 or 195/65R15! Need your expert opinion which tyre size and brand is best in terms of size, fuel average and comfort. Please suggest.

I have the yokohama es32 185 / 65 / 15 on my aspire and can confirm there are no such vibrations. The only thing i remember was that the ride quality was terrible on the stock tyres

Sharing my experience from a recent trip.

Drove all the way to Shogran from Karachi up and down in total 3600 KMs. The car is 2022 aspire CVT and had 5k on the ODO. With Yokohama ES32s 185, the car was stable with minimal road noise on the motorways and did not experience wheel spinning even a single time in all conditions i.e. rain, gravel, mud etc. Got alignment done from Karachi before leaving which was slightly off but the car kept swaying to the left on motorways. Got it done again from ISB and it was fine until I started my journey back towards Karachi, it again kept swaying to the left. Any suggestions or really good place for alignment in Karachi?

I have driven manuals and automatics including multi speed CVTs but had not driven extensively a plain CVT like the one in this City. This CVT is excellent for smooth ride especially driving in hilly areas with lots of curves, the seamless power delivery is really comforting.

Had no trouble going up Monal, Nathia Gali or Shogran but going downhill was a different story altogether. I have a habit of utilizing maximum engine breaking and can't tell you how useless the L gear is on this transmission. The S and L work similarly with little effectiveness on slight downhill slopes with hardly 500rpm difference between the two. When the slope is steep, you can't rely on its engine breaking at all. My car's breaks really got hot half way down the shogran road so took a 30 mins break and since then I already feel the breaking effectiveness have reduced due to the wear and may require replacement in sometime.

Having read so many issues with the screen I was happy with mines working seamlessly throughout the trip so I made sure to use it only for the Bluetooth and use the cell phone for navigation but alas when I entered Hyderabad-Karachi motorway, the bluetooth started disconnecting and connecting continuously and this keeps going on forever.

Combined average was 15km/l for the trip. Going uphill it was as low as 7.5. The best average that I got was from Balakot to Islamabad which was around 17.8km/l. Overall on the motorways it ranged between 16 and 17 on 110-120km/h speeds.

Someone's driver hit my vehicle from the side when dropping the owner's son to college. Driver accepted his mistake and the school staff witnessed it as well and everyone said it's clearly his mistake.

The driver was requesting to forgive him because according to him, if I ask for compensation from owner, he will deduct the amount from his salary. Not sure what should I do

No matter how much I pamper my vehicles, someone with absent mind ruins it.
I think the only fix here is to get the dent repaired with re-paint. PDR is not an option in this case

I feel very sad for you.
i don’t know why but you’ll always find the most irresponsible driving behaviour from rickshaw/ van / under ager bike riders/ donkey cart etc. because they will always get away by playing poor people card. Bhai ager ap poor hain to zayada ehtiyat say drive karen, dosron ko bhe bachaen khud bhe bachen. q k ager accident hoa to ap pay nhe ker paen gay. But no. Same people, if they go to UAE as driver they’ll not do the same there because fines are hefty and no matter what they do they can’t get away from it.

100% true. My last 3 accidents were by poor people driving totally irresponsibly and each time I had to let them go.
Couple years by, shehzore driver hit the fendor of my Wagon R by changing lane.
A gardner hit the side of front bumper when coming from wrong side.
Now this driver who was totally absent minded hit directly to the sides damaging both doors.
Every time it was a poor man and begging afterwards to forgive them. What can we say other than Allah hidayat dy.

So sorry for your loss. Speak to his boss but don't ask for compensation. Who knows if this guy decides to try further stunts in the future endangering the lives of occupants / pedestrians on the road.

Right now he'll probably cook up some absurd story as to how his own vehicle was damaged due to no fault of his own.

Yeah I talked with the owner politely. I told them if you are going to deduct the amount from driver's salary, then I won't accept it. I shared the quotation from Honda dealership which is 25k for two doors repair & paint. I requested them to pay whatever amount.
The owner is good and said he won't deduct from driver's salary. They paid 15k and I thanked them. To my surprise driver accepted his mistake and made no fake story. Case closed

Driven 7K kms now masha Allah. Got 15K service done for 11K rupees. Reasonable. No issues other than tyres. I bought this as a temporary car until I find a good civic x but looks like I will be keeping it for longer.

The trunk spoiler looks fantastic. Is it an original grace accessory or aftermarket? Did you have to drill holes?

It is fixed using 3m douple tape. Kaheen ni jata been to 170. It is aftermarket from Rimpa plaza lahore.
