The cvt is earth dreams separately. Engines are also earth dreams in newer generations but not the older engines like the one in gm6 city. Gn2 7th gen city has earth dreams engine.

Earth dreams is just a general term for better efficiency.

No changes, but something about seats, the letter from Honda mentioned upgraded seats in 1.2 variants.

What is the delivery time of city 1.2 cvt?

Roughly 2 months, since fbr purchased cars city has gone on Booking.

We booked in August when dealership was saying Sept. On booking, hcar sent sms expected delivery 30th Oct. Recently they sent another ssm saying expected delivery 30november. So more like 3 months.

I am currently using a Honda City 1.5 Aspire and have a few questions regarding its fuel average. I am getting around 12 km/l while driving with a light foot.

Could you please advise if this fuel consumption is normal, or should I consider visiting the dealership for a check-up?

I would appreciate some guidance on the proper use and benefits of the ECON button.

average depends on a lot of factors.

i get around 9-10 for aspire 1.5 because my trips are very short and a lot of idling as well.

but i would say 12 is a good avg for aspire 1.5 in my opinion

In my opinion not for me. To me it just feels like it alters the throttle response or actually the transmission response.

But it does do other things like slows down AC performance as well. So I basically use it for moving around the neighborhood. And non eco mode for longer travel

I get 11-12 as well in medium traffic with multiple stops. Depends on your commute. I get 14-15 if my commute is mostly canal rd lhr.

Eco mode sucks during short trips in city. I use Eco mode with Cruise control on Motorways to cruise around 110-120. Gives me 16kmpl easily. Without Eco, I feel Cruise control is rushing the throttle to 4-5K RPM to gain back any loss of speed on hill ascent. With Eco, its much milder and enjoyable as it does so in more pleasant fashion

ECO Cuts throtle response and AC

if you simultanously press un press the ECO mode, You can very much feel AC and Throttle response changes rapidly

I want to get my evaporator cleaned. The car was parked for 1.5months during the rainy season. Due to my carelessness, I closed all the windows and mold formed. Got my interior all cleaned up but that mushy smell comes back from time to time. Gets worse when I use AC. I know my cabin filter hasn't been changed once and I did remove to check its condition and it's nasty. So how would the cleaning service be performed? Will they use a foam cleaner and use the on the blower motor so it sucks it up? or use the drain line and force feed it? Does honda have their own evap cleaners?
