The Stellantis Group has launched the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Indian car market. The Cherokee is available only with a 272 bhp, 2.2 liter turbo petrol engine in five seater configuration. Jeep is now locally assembling this vehicle and India is the first market where this car is assembled outside of the USA. Rivals for this car in the Indian car market are mainly the Volvo XC90, Range Rover Velar, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7 and BMW X5.
