Picanto is ok to compete Cultus/Celerio/Alto.
Swift is a different category. Suzuki Pakistan has ignored this car. With competition coming they might wakeup. Else loose this cars market too and endup selling Alto and WagonR only.
Spot on analysis. If Suzuki don't mess up like Honda, like launching 6th gen, this new gen swift can most definitely do well for them and customers.
Yes because their is a huge market which prefers buying a used Toyota vitz over Honda City.
PKDM swift is in development. maybe launch next year
I think expected launch is late 3rd quarter or early 4th ?
instead of launching this hatchback swift they should really look into launching the compact sedan version of this, that is the swift Desire.
I have seen that car personally in India and it's an ugly looking car, the hatchback version of swift looks a lot better
The pictures I posted for red and gray Swift are CBU and not CKD.
As per Suzuki Dealership, likely launch may occur in October.
This one is a 2018 model and has K12 engine (1242cc) as per registration details!
The million $$$ question remains unanswered, will the swift come with an AMT/AGS or an automatic?
Likely AGS, helps to keep the price low.
Launch - not in 2021. PS hardly meeting demands for Alto and Cultus.
if MG 3 is launched in July 2021 swift will get a good competitor
i really don't like the rear of that car because of those ugly backlights
I recently bought this brand new in Australia. Alhamdulillah its a very good car. Slightly bigger than the Pakistani version and has a much better drive too. MashaAllah
Ma Sha Allah. Nice ride. Stay blessed
@fazalwahab11375Sir, any inside news when is the new gen Swift releasing in Pakistan? I am in need of a hatchback, so pending the purchase...
I have to check on this for any updates. The last I knew was by end of 2021..
Go for options already available in market. Cultus, Picanto and Alto may be a choice as of now.
