The internal source has again confirmed today that the newly launched Swift has a robotically welded chassis.

As per the source, the endurance test has already been passed. There is a huge stock waiting for an official go-ahead (SMC approval from Japan, I don’t know what does that means) before hitting the road (even Suzuki officials are not allowed to drive these vehicles on the road).

Can you comment about the ground clearance? And cabin noise? Why I sold my cultus was the cabin noise and uncomfortable seats.

Interesting fact: The seat vendor for Suzuki, Honda, and Toyota is the same i.e. Razi Sons

Probably they approve quality with money paid.

Having kept, Cultus 2022, Alto 2019, Wagonr 2018.

Alto has the best seats, position and cushioning. Wagonr and Cultus Probably have same seats only position is changed.

I can't even put my head straight on the head rest in Suzuki cars.

Honestly speaking, I found Swift much better than the Cultus. That’s why I have exchanged my Cultus with the newly launched Swift. I have driven this car in the dealership premises, and mostly on the tiled floor. So I can’t say anything about the cabin noise.

The seats are way too better than the Cultus. The rear seats have much more and better padding than the Cultus. Adjustable headrests on the rear seats give an extra plus point, enhance the sitting posture.

Again these were display units, and they had exceptional quality. If you are willing to buy Swift, you should buy it now as there is a confirmed price hike. Probably by the end of this month. If you wish to buy it after a test drive, then I am afraid you won’t be able to avail of the introductory price benefit (Catch-22 situation).

Yes, you are right. I have kept and used all these vehicles that you have mentioned above.

There is a visible difference in the padding and thickness of Alto, WagonR, Cultus, and the newly launched Swift seats.

Booked mine on exchange too with my old 2017 Swift. The approval is expected in the upcoming week, wherein I will be required to make the complete deposit. The dealership expects me to purchase insurance and transfer it immediately in my name for which we had a handshake agreement.

Although I was informed of a 2-3 week wait on exchange but in my last conversation I was explicitly told that delivery will begin after 4th April

I can't complain much apart from not installing the dual jet engine which not would have given the car 10% more power but almost 20 percent more fuel efficiency. Hopefully we will have that in the facelift in 2025.

Can you please inform me about what documents did you receive from dealership in exchange program?
I expect a Delivery Letter(for old vehicle with selling price mentioned ) and PBO form( without booking number tho for new swift). Is that right?

Yes, you are right. I have also received a delivery letter for the old vehicle containing its registration information, engine, and chassis number, timestamp, price, owner, and used car manager details, along with a dealership stamp.

The PBO without any booking reference number of Suzuki and tentative delivery date. Also an advance payment receipt for the balance payment that I have made for the newly launched Swift.

PayOrder is needed in the name of 'Pak Suzuki on a/c car owners name' (sometimes also includes NIC) - bank will never issue a payorder on account of someone else other than the bank account holder. you have to transfer money in your account first.

Booked mine on 28/2/2022 and still waiting for PBO with TDD, there is some technical issue at the company end thats why facing delay said by showroom guy!!!
What to do should i put pressure on the showroom guy or wait?
