I have heard the same news as well. Still, few dealerships have a booking quota, but you will have to find them.

Bookings will open next month, and probably with a price hike! That’s what I have heard from the dealerships and officials.

As per the source, around 3000 vehicles are booked so far and Suzuki isn’t taking new bookings until next month.

By the way, I booked the car (GLX) on the 1st of March, got a TDD on the 6th of June. This time, there was a complex verification process involved by the company. Initial verification was made at the regional office level, afterwards, the case was forwarded to the Karachi head office.

I think the company is trying to bar the investors from booking cars. I will suggest you follow up with your bank and the dealership involved in your case.

As per another official source, the company had initial plans to launch the car by the mid or end of April. But due to some unforeseen reasons, the company had to launch it earlier. This might be due to future price hikes too. At that point, it would have been difficult for Suzuki to launch it under a 3.0 million price tag.

I am also hoping to get an early delivery by the end of this month or by the mid of next month due to the exchange program.

Now, the verification process is very strict for the exchange program. You will have to hand over the original documents to the company for verification purposes and the car is supposed to be in your name in the E&T record.

By the way, thanks for sharing the pictures of a red-colored Swift. It is a very appealing and bold color. The only issue is the resale value. Especially the gloss in the paint gives it a premium look!
