In my opinion it's a bit more complicated than a simple "yes go for it" or "not practical anymore" reason being:

1. current honda prices are (again in my opinion) for reference only as they will be definitely increased till the time of delivery and one will have to pay the difference amount as both Toyota and honda do not take full payments (as per my info).

2. Yaris may be worth it as it has a very short delivery time.. however after price increase features vs features comparison in accordance with wait time is a real thing

3. Purchasing either of the three on ON i.e. ready delivery.. i guess in that scenario I'll go for city and in no way is swift worth it... (My own thoughts)

I am not sure about the other parts of the country but Yaris is available within a 2 – 4 week period in Lahore. Six-month weight and post-budget delivery will be hectic. City and Yaris are here for over a year now and their fuel average and performance are known to everyone.

Both of them have a good resale value. When he is spending 3.2 million, then why shouldn’t he consider a sedan over a hatchback?

These days it's just like in the phone market,, depends on the type of features you like, for me decision point was smart entry push start and six air bags but in contrast yaris offers more utility in the form of trunk plus toyota is extremely better at customer service than Suzuki so it's more of what one wants kind of thing...

If Swift is not worth PKR 31,69,000.. then Yaris 1.3 CVT and Honda 1.2 CVT are definitely not worth 31,09,000 and 32,49,000 respectively. All Big 3 companies have roughly increased price by 10%.. thus the price difference and value for money remains the same.

Sir all of them are friends under the table, they've kept the price difference same or more so increased them between full option varients to increase their profit margins. Awaam ko confuse karna inn ko boht achaaa aata hai. I wouldnt buy neither, rather add 3-4 lac more and buy used Civic X or FL 1.6 Altis.

Biggest mistake is to either cancel or switch to something else in Pakistan since they are all friends. One way or the other they will mint money no matter what option customers select

Open invoice means car is already in showroom or ready at car plant, but its invoice is not issued yet. It is only issued to dealerships at a very small dealer quota, hardly 1% of total cars. As soon as a customer finalizes deals, he receives car on the spot and only then invoice is issued directly on his name. No issue in open invoice. It is actually the best way to buy a car if you want to buy a car on own. As you will be the 1st owner and will also pay no additional government tax.

I asked the same question a while back and was told that if the vehicle has been booked by full payment then price hike is not applicable, otherwise it is..

As per the SRO
It is from the date of booking. The company has to deliver in 60 days and if late than 60 days the company has to pay interest for the delay. But companies try to play around this. I Booked Yaris. My delovery was 10-12 days late. I called their helplone a couple of times and forwarded couple of emails and received my compensation cheque.
Delaerships always say that its 60 days after tentative delivery but they are wrong. Its 60 days from initial booking

Well if the system works, you shouldnt have to claim. They must dispatch it by themselves. But keep going after them. Lodge complaints.
Even if your car is delivered on 61st day. You are eligible for compensation.
