Wondering, If they are importing 80-90% of the parts then what’s the point of having a ban on importing the vehicles and/or applying heavy excise duties? We are increasing the imports one way or another. If excise duty is reduced, the local assemblers will have serious competition.
Dear AllCan anyone update me upon delivery of GLX CVT. I booked the vhicle on 28th March. Delivery date is 22nd August 2022. There are rumors that company is retuning the amount back.
Mine exactly the same, 28th March and 25 August. Today, I called my contact in PSMCL and inquire about status. Good News is the delivery will be as per schedule and it could be late Max by a weak. Hope all goes well

Hows the experience, Specifically if someone has upgraded from a Cultus VXL manual.
Looking at the market I guess I am getting a GL manual key to key exchange for with VXL Cultus.
Ofc it will be better in terms of more power, space, comfort, AC perf and boot space.I would recommend GL CVT for driving ease n pleasure.1 or 2 km/l avg difference ho ga bass.
Yes CVT would be an add on, but i dont want to add in any money.

Being a Swift owner, I have found that KIA Stonic has superior paint and built quality. The sunroof is another plus point.
Though, in the end, quality matters more than features.
True, paint quality is substandard in swift. BTW stonic built quality is very good in all respect with loads and loads of features. Just a doubt, KLM may discontinue stonic due to poor sales.

i am facing paint issues it seems like it might peel off (GL CVT white) I didnt like the paint quality
I have observed White has really bad paint quality but other colors like Silver, grey are ok

Suzuki Swift GLX CVT is loaded with features and problems in it together.
I think for 40 lacs there should have been an armrest with rear AC vents. Paint quality is diabolical, the interior plastic is of cheap quality and there should have been a sunroof in GLX variant.
it went to 40 because of rupee depreciation, not that Suzuki wanted to add features so they increased prices : ) it should've had armrest even at 29.. but then again, there are a lot of "should have" things in my list that are not happening.
Buy the armrest from Aftermarket if you really want it, its not like you have to strip the car down to install armrest, its plug nd play
