Why is Suzuki facing supply chain issues for Swift GLX CVT but not for GL MT or GL CVT?
Initially GL variants did not respond well and ppl opted for GLX variants. I think what PS is doing is very clever and hitting two birds with 1 stone;
1- by creating an artificial shortage they boosted sales of GL variants
2- In the longer run, the shortage will help them raise prices for GLX variant
Alto VXL-AGS and Cultus AGS aren't available due to the AGS-unit shortage, but Wagon VXL-AGS is available at the Suzuki dealerships without any premium money, but why?
1- Wagon-R has least sales as compared to Alto and Cultus. Possibly they have units lying around. Plus there are rumors of Wagon-R discontinuing in coming months so probably PS is simply getting all units off their hands.
Why does Suzuki over-booking cars beyond their capacity?
1- Maths worked out for every manufacturer in last 3 quarters. The amount of compensation is nothing compared to the price hike. Plus company is earning a lot of money due to higher interest rates.
Seriously, are they following the first come, first serve principle for deliveries?
Not at no. Infact no manufacturer is. If this was they case, you'll never find open invoice or dealership quota cars available on on/premium.
