how deep was it below from this guy?
i remember one such crossing while going to Kondol Lake Swat
a friend of mine's foot slipped and he was literally about to fell if we hadnt caught his hand.. very scary

It was around 7,8 feet but main problem was flow of water underneath which was very strong and powerful.

its not about height, janab, in such conditions, even a fall of 1 or 2 feet can break ur back, or frecture ur leg..........and its also fast flowing water down.........

Now we had to do an unforgiving long walk in hot weather which was throughout on jeep track. This stage would end at Shelter 1 which was our lunch stop point and is just before the end of jeep track.

Heavy machinery was already working on the road before flood.

After the flood this machinery got stuck and disconnected from Dowarian. So, now they have started the work from other side and will complete the patch till Dowarian first to reconnect the road. I am afraid that this may be done somewhere in next summer. People are carrying fuel on shoulders till the machines.

Here is the view of machinery at work but there was big gap between us and the machines with nowhere to cross and we had to climb up on right through the houses and cultivated fields and then drop down back on road near machines.
