We had a 45 min break and resumed the trek.

Current location is 1st shelter

The jeep track finishes between 1st shelter and 2nd stop before start of climb for 2nd stop.

2nd stop is a beautiful village consisting of shelter houses on slopes of mountain and cultivated fields all around

Our final target of the day is village Jhuggiyan !!

I think in this stop we just used snacks and fruit tins plus tea.

For regular meals, i purchased "Freshmate" readymade meals from Rahim Store in Allama Iqbal Town. I think these should be available from all big departmental stores in Lahore.

I don't have any pics but Abbas uploaded some in his thread here:

One packet is enough for 2 persons for one meal and u need to heat the foil packing in hot water for 4,5 min and it is ready to eat.

I bought lots of variety including:
- chicken dishes (karahi, makhni, qorma etc.)
- mutton dishes (karahi, boneless, qorma etc.)
- qeema dishes
- sabzi
- daal
- different types of rice like biryani, chana pulao, masar pulao etc.
- nihari, haleem

Price range for each packet was between Rs.155 - Rs.290 and the good thing is that these have expiry of around 2 years

Overall, the per head cost of food was still less as compared to normal food budget in such tours.

So food was superb throughout the tour

excellent waseem, i am really amazed, by the taste, now this dish wud be available at home all the time, and even aloo qeema was very good, it was as frsh as newly cooked, amzing.....taste.....

Yup taste was amazing for almost all dishes and i didn't dislike any of them. However, there is a specific taste ingredient feel in all dishes whether it is chicken, mutton, haleem, qeema or whatever and that could be due to same spices being used for mass cooking.

No doubt a BIG relief as no more cooking involved

Otherwise choice buhut limited hoti thi khaney mei treks par. laikin ab to masla hi solve ho gya hai with all types of variety available

The margin of error was only one or two inches

These were 7 or 8 steps on the protruding edges of rocks which had created a natural alternative path for the people. The water flow of Dowarian nallah was too fast and strong to even step into it so there was no chance of mistake. Full concentration was required and i asked each and every team member to slow down, take your time and watch out each and every step.

Three or four steps were even narrower than the width of foot so u could only cross by fixing half foot on the edge and then put weight on next foot.

Only plus was u could lean a little on right over the rock as it was not exactly 90 degree straight.

Going down to Dowarian nallah to cross 3rd and final bridge of this trek. We will come back to right side again but over a glacier as lake is on right side.
