Vitara 1600 carborator engine requires overhauling. Now suggest me is this a best engine for vitara? Or should I replace it with other engine. Like gli or balino.
i guess it has G16a, u can put G16B it will be bolt on
sort out estimation for overhaul 1st, swap is not an easy task specially when ECU & sensors play vital role in an EFI engine for performance. last but not least altered engine and edited registration book are bad omen for resale value. see if these guys can extend help for right direction @margallar @syncview @rustam54
Engine can easily be rebuilt, relatives have a similar Vitara which is running fine on a rebuilt original engine.
Go for the rebuild from some good place....swaps in Pakistan are messy specially Efi ones....
Go for engine swap , as efi is best option , there is gr8 difference in pick and consumption .
Swap and overhauling both are possible. G16b is good for Swap
