19.5% tax was implemented by provincial govts of KPK, Sindh and Punjab.
Due to widespread outrage on social media this tax was withdrawn by the Punjab govt. (Sindh KPK continued)
None of the ISP's (Wi-tribe, nayatel, ptcl) and 4 operators implemented this tax in Punjab.
Except for ofcourse Mobilink.
The 14% advance tax is proposed by the "federal" govt and is applicable on all internet users on all the provinces. My wi-tribe has got it, nayatel has got it ptcl has got it cause they are ISP's.
However the 5 telecos have not implemented this tax as the the clause in the budget is not clear about mobile broadband. So currently they have put this advance tax on hold.
Now if clarification comes and both of these taxes are brought into effect than (19.5%+14%)= 33.5%
Expect the internet to go expensive by 33.5%. So that means suppose you paid Rs1000 before now you would be paying 1335.
ISP's are already charging both these taxes in KPK and Sindh.
