Zong customers kindly comment on the limit issue being faced by customers as some have complained that their limit is getting finished in no time regardless of their usage as One person has reported that his device used 7GB in only 2 days with moderate usage... I am thinking to buy Mifi device of Zong in Lahore near Wapda Town.

I was facing same problem. checked multiple times and I found that due to zong high speed data consumes fast. so you really have to keep check on your usage. for example on youtube Telenor 1 gb take around 1 hour to finish and zong 1 gb finishes in 20 to 25 mins. reason is that on zong data video automatically loads @ FHD 1080p due to high speed while on Telenor 3g video loads @ 360p (personaly checked)

but you cannot blame zong for this . you have to alter your usage. what I have done is

1.switch off auto update on your pc/laptop , smartphones tablets etc
2.while watching youtube or any other video website set video quality to 360p 0r 480p max. at 1080p(FHD) your data will finish in no time.
3. switch your network type to 3g instead of 4g. 3g speed is more than enough for day to day tasks. it will save a lot of data.
4. while downloading torrent try to select healthy torrent and set your update speed to 1-3kb. most torrents client upload speeds are set to unlimited by default and with that you end up consuming 1.6-1.8gb data while downloading a 1gb file.

So guys I recently bought Zong Mifi 4G device. The reason was to avoid ptcl and also needed a device that would be me on the go.
I bought it from Zong outlet in H market DHA Lahore.
Total cost was 5k including 3k for the device and 2k for the package (75gb)

First the device is good, it's portable, has a max 4 hours back up with 2 devices connected, and it boots up quickly. The downside is that it lacks a display for info like data consumed or how many users are connected and also heats up a bit.

Now coming over to the speed, in Lahore, I have tested it in Gulberg, cantt and dha. I have to say is that, the internet is blazing fast; there were hardly any lags plus I was averaging around 10 mb/s, in Gulberg and cantt it also went above 20 mb/s.

All in all, I am extremely satisfied. It has fulfilled the purpose. Now I don't need to worry when ptcl is down and also when i am travelling.

Just don't use speedtest again and again it eats MBs in hundreds in seconds

Zong is having this issue of consumption of bandwidth in no time.They have serious pulse issues.I have personally checked it-- they give us injection of 200 to 300MB on every GB. They won't admit their fault or fraud.

why didn't you opt for Zong Fiberhome device ? it has display LCD also & 10% discount on device till 31 Aug.
i am interested in buying Wingle (USB Device). what you suggest.
because i just have to use internet at home & not interested in mobility.

And I would say is that avoid usb wingle device. It is a pain to connect it like you will always need a USB. Plus I am sure you will use it while travelling once you have it so then it will be completely useless. I would say spend more and get this mifi device.

Believe me i dont feel any difference in portability

m using zong 4g wingle device...its great ......when 4g is on speed is very good ...but it do given sudden signal drop ..specially pings are not stable

Still it won't be as portable as mifi... It won't be easy to carry wingle+powerbank in pocket
