I keep a charger connected to battery device. The advantage is that in loadshedding or while traveling, you can use it. For a USB stick, i will have to buy a car charger as well

Hi all,

I am living outside the country (Africa). Data here is really expensive ($100 for 101 GB). I have an unused Charjee device, could anyone in the list share a link to use other sims for Chrjee. My current modem only supports 3G and it is a fixed modem. With Open Charjee device, I will be able to roam around without really burning very expensive phone data.

I don't understand, 14.5K for what? Please explain as i am confused. I thought 6 month package was for 10k? Why you had to pay 14.5K

On a side note, the battery on my zong 4g device has started to swell. It is 1 year old, battery swelling happens when there is overcharging, i wonder why this huawei device doesn't stop charging once battery is full

for this reason alone I use the wingle as it always remains plugged-in into the router.

Interestingly swift also has USB port and before ur comment i never thought of using it as a charger "VERY STRANGE"

After reading all comments about packages and devices i thought i should share my experience
I used ptcl 3g evo device for around 3 years after its speed got drastically decreased then switched to zong and after similar case with zong i shifted to LAN based service which is outstanding using wifi router with it
And as a standby got my Zong wingle unlocked for use with other sims in emergency cases

Since this is a cellular device, its current requirement is higher than a simple USB storage device. You have to check if the USB slot provides ample current.

Try putting some songs in main folder of usb and then try. Some players cause issue in finding songs in multiple sub folders.

Some old CD players are also audio CD player, they are not mp3 players.

This weekend i bought Jazz 6months package with free 4g device. This device is the one with battery. What i really liked in jazz as compared to zong is that that gave a charger + cable with it and secondly its battery capacity is 2400mAH as compared to 1500 of zong device. I have been using zong 4g device and its battery has badly swelled now. It barely sits inside. I keep a samsung(branded) charger connected with it but it seems that device is not cutting off the charging once full so it gets overcharged.

Speed at my area is almost same as zong. I am getting 3-10mbps these days and it was same with jazz. Jazz package costed 10000 including tax.

I have installed jazz world app but i am unable to log in to it. It gives two options, through facebook or through sms. both are not working and i get an error pop-up saying something like we are experiencing problems please try later.

Any idea how monitor my jazz 4g connection? I was using myzong app for zong 4g.

I also love the battery of Jazz Device, doesnt need constant charging and can be carried around, lasts a long time.

About speed, I still believe Zong is generally faster, Jazz sometimes gets painfully slow, I also feel it has range issues compared to Zong.

I have two Zong prepaid sim, bought after seeing lots of good reviews about Zong here and facing following issues.

1) Rs. 4 are charged for mobile data use several times a day. Mobile data is off continuously.
2) MyZong shows a different balance everytime i check, sometimes higher or sometimes lower.
3) Zong balance check shows a different balance everytime, especially after phone restart.
4) Balance vanishing randomly and coming back after phone restart.

What to do? Complaints are not helping.

After Zong horrible experience, turned out to be that there are too many Zong employees here praising zong unnecessarily.

This issue is with Telenor as well. They randomly sent me sms that i am using internet at standard rate even though data is turned off and mobile is connected with WIFI. I complained several times but no use. Then in my phone, i turned off all cellular related features such as VOLTE and forced modem to 2G and then stopped getting this message. I have a feeling that mobile uses some 4G features even when data is turned off.

I don't have such weird issues on Zong internet sim.

I got 3 month bundle for zong 3 months back when it was working good here in bahawalpur.
It was good for 2 months and gradually gone down in last month.

Now subscribed to Jazz and it's better than Zong at the moment.
