Keep calm. Warid has best 2G internet among its competitors. Its 4G would be good too. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

agreed, using warid for around 10 years, never had any issue regarding voice quality, connectivity, internet, coverage and helpline. Tried Zong once and its helpline service was pathetic, too much wait.. before warid was using jazz mobilink, and that time mobilink was called 'may-be-link',, very difficult connectivity most of the times..
but now i think ill have to switch if warid doesnt come up with something solid before other companies announce their 3G packages..

Reason is ericsson. I have tried every cellular service myself found it to be the best. People say its expensive compared to others. The hell it is but you get what you pay for. Ilmiya hai k yahan sab ko cheap packages chahiye hotay hen which warid cant provide. Lets hope k warid comes with something good.

Is Mobilink the only operator that has not started trial 3G runs for all customers, for free? I've been playing around with the settings, hoping I'd catch a signal. Was sitting with a friend. Both of us Mobilink postpaid. He had 3G I didn't? Beats me.

Any good news?

As far as 3G is concerned . ufone announced their plans but they're rubbish. It's just more of EDGE. They're 3G speeds starts from 256 kbps-1 mbps.

They should be desparate. They failed to put up any kind of information for their customers if they were really going to introduce 3g/4g. Now they feel left behind along with their customers.

inside signals not full so speed around 750kB but atleast its consistent - outside full signals and it hits 10Mbps and more - (Mobilink in DHA Karachi on an HTC One)

As soon as companies launch 3G, there will be such a rush that it'll hardly be faster than 2G. I have heard similar stories from India as well, so don't get over-excited. 4G is the real deal!:

Here are the rates of Ufone's "3G" Network. It's also speed-based btw, despite 3G speeds are supposed to be up to 14
mbps. But ufone will be only offering 256 kbps (dead slow) till 1 Mbps. Their rates are ok, but their highest data volume is 3 GB, which will be for 1200. I'm for sure Mobilink will offer fastest 3G in Pakistan, as it's 10 MHz, just hope we get speeds higher then 1 mbps.
