if u arent getting 3g, then maybe ur cell isnt supported or u arent in coverage or u have selected to use gprs to save battery in settings some where

tested 3g of ufone which was free, but then got a text that u have used 1mb so u get free 19mb n deducted 24rs, wtf?

Free trial of Mobilink’s 3G service is currently available in Karachi, Multan and Faisalabad. To avail this, the customer will simply have to enable 3G on his supported handset and then restart the phone.

To enable 3G, select any of the following in the “Network Settings” or “Mobile Networks” on 3G supported handsets:

GSM/WCDMA (auto) mode
2G + 3G mode
GSM / UMTS mode
Dual Mode

Once this is done and the customer enters a 3G coverage area, the symbol next to the network signals will change to any of the following:

3G
3
H
H+
