I want to use zong 3g/4g lte via phone to my laptop. kindly guide me what is the procedure?

Usb tethering can also be used.

Or by Mobile hotspot (portable wifi hotspot). Which phone do you have?.

I used three of them and tested speed tests, ping tests and online gaming.

1- Usb tethering is best. It charges the phone and is fastest.

2- Wifi hotspot. Faster, more range, convenient and can be used on multiple devices.

3- Bluetooth. Not very fast.

Warid LTE is the worst for following reasons...

1- Worst handset compatibility.
Although it runs on FDD 1800MHz Band 3, any handset that is not "Officially" launched in Pakistan is not supported by it. I have checked LG G2, G Pro, Nexus D821, LG G3 S (mini) and note 4 (N910C), all supporting the mentioned LTE specs but are not supported by Warid.

Well my set Sony Xperia Z2 is on the list of officially launched and PTA approved sets. It still works like 3G ! although it give me the LTE icon with full signal bars. I wasn't expecting this from Warid.

Zong is the winner here. consistent speed. Warid has inconsistent speed may be coz it is running on 5MHz band same as the voice while Zong is on 20MHz.

I have 4G phone which is not officially launched in Pakistan. It runs both warid and zong 4g very well without any problem.

I like zong more, because i prefer 3G as it drains battery less quickly than 4G.

Btw i only use mobile data once in a while.

I am getting both warid LTE signal in my iPhone 5s and mobilink h or h+ signal in my home but it does not browse at all.
I have checked in the coverage map I am in the coverage area still it doesn't browse
Anyone can help me with that.

I am a warid user, so can only comment about warid LTE. You need to have an LTE sim to use warid, and a data plan.

Regarding speed, I have an excellent experience all over lahore. I use a BlackBerry Q10.

Now i want to know i should activate the package first or i should get the "G" signal in the signal bar without activating? Verizon razr droid m supports only 700 mhz for 4G. So 4G is not supported. 3G will work.

4G in Pakistan requires LTE 1800mhz.

Set your phone to GSM/WCDMA.
Request and install internet settings by calling 310.

Verizon phones have different mobile data system, so it should be any of 3G, H, H+ or even 4G. Btw you should try both settings lte/cdma and gsm/umts. But i believe gsm/umts will work.

Just for info.
Samsung Galaxy S4 canada variants show 4G symbol on H+ (3.75G). Seen the same on some USA phones too. So speedtest it.

I think you have battery temperature app installed. What's the maximum temperature of your phone in 3G use?. Your phone name?

I used 3G on grand prime for half an hour and it goes upto 40C and back cover near camera got very hot.

I don't have any app for battery temp... I use 3g all day... Phone runs almost a day. Running on huawei g610s
