Mobilink 3G is not working. The phone was taken to franchise too, by my friend, but no avail.

Insert Mobilink sim in device.
Turn on your device.
Go in dialer and dial ##4636##
A menu will appear.
Select PHONE INFORMATION.
Now you will another page with different options.
Scroll down a bit.
Now in preferred network type SELECT WCDMA ONLY OR UMTS/WCDMA ONLY.
Once set you will get the signals for Mobilink 3G.
Remember as this device does not support GSM, you will not be able to receive or send calls. Though msgs should work.

Try this method and post the results.

Borrowed telenor sim from a friend yesterday for internet check, today i topped up Rs.100 and used it and gave me the shitty speed about 40Kbps max download speed, after using some time they (telenor) texted me you have consumed Rs.50, now rest of the day is free "still gave me the same 40Kbps speed", so after using all day telenor internet it was not not working good ...

NOTE: My location is phase 4 bahria town, Rawalpindi and the device i was using telenor via HOTSPOT is SAMSUNG GALAXY Y YOUNG DUOS GT-S6102 ....

So far total of 97000 4G users in Pakistan as per PTA. Out of which 66000 belong to Warid the leading 4G Operator. Though Warid entered the market much later than Zong.

factory reset and re installing fixed the issue. It was all messed up.

Telenor upload is a bit messed up these days but the download is excellent. And usually its a symmetric 10mbit connection without any loss. I love it!

Though what you did was stupid. I subscribe to the 3 day package for 40rs on DJuice. 3GB data and 100 Rs balance for all networks.

Win win situation for me.
