If you can tune a 3sgte and build it properly using high end aftermarket parts you can easily beat most of the Evo's out there.

Salam brothers.
I was thinking on fitting a 3sge in my corolla 2005. It is running on a 2c right now. And im not really satisfied with the milage. I am getting a regular 7-8 km per litre. No matter what the condition is. I need suggestions and expert opinions. Thankyou

If mileage is your primary concern then 3sge is not for you. Go for a 4efe.

I need some help regarding 3sge 5th gen, we bought one and swapped into kia sportage 2004-5 model, the engine seems to be in very good conditon, but I think something is terribly wrong. we converted from a 3Y, it was dying, I thought 5th gen would be powerful. but right now its dead, literally dead. So anyone can help me regarding the issues, the mechanic juts cant fix it. And in the start he used to say he has already done 2 sportage swaps wth this engine and they are running perfect. Firstly ts dead, hardly goes upto 90-100 km/h. Secondly its noisy as hell, like a potohar.

I happened to be there when it was being done. Ur project was handled by the peaple who were not totally upto the mark. U should get a workshop manual and a new wiring loom n shoud start doing it one step at a time. Start from the input sensor of engine n gear n then work on ur way to output of engine e.g injectors, coil packs, iacv, throttle actuators, egr, etc etc n then the gear solenoids. The inputs would be sensor of all kinds including the clutch,input, output shat's sensor. U would be needing some oem parts so that u can let the ecu get the information it needs in the way it has been programed. N also try to install a scanner jack so that u could know what the ecu is asking for. Try to get as many inputs in working condition as possible as it would help the ecu to work under normal mode. It is running in limp mode right now. I hope this would help
