Nice swap but why didnt you swapped 2zzge .Its bolt to bolt fit and also produces 190bhp

Isnt 3rd or 4th gen 3S-GE more efficient and powerful and newer in technology?

Considering the fact that u're swapping this very old generation of engine in a new car, I cant digest this thing.

No offence but if u wanna move to a performance engine for this Altis, always consider newer gens of engine. My 2 cents.

Its not about the looks its about function. The header you have there will not provide a smooth path for the exhaust to flow. A good silencer wala should be able to make a tubular header in the available space so you should consider changing your silencer wala. This is the sort of 'Jugaar' our khan sahibaan would do in Mithu ka ahata.

too much back pressure with that header, you will have good low rpm torque, but nothing much at high rpm.

3sge twin cam has max torque at higher rpm, can pump out 160 hp approx with very clean fuel and k&n filter but you have to get it professionally done.

i also see a cng kit in there, so i guess this is not a speed performance oriented car.

yes engine will pump out power, but yr no where near its max n/a power with all those things inside with engine

sir as i told before perfections depends on budget.when budget is low how we modify each and everything in this budget range.it just seems like a engine swap but when engine is going to swap each and every thing related to engine will be change.then in a limited budget it cant be managed.i know header is not looking good but its just for short time.after sometime as we make a new down piping header it will be replace with the modified 1.yes we are installing cold air intake in it becoz engine is not giving performance.these things are temporary.keep guiding us,Thanx too All

Kindly do not run this engine on any kind of spirited driving until you get the exhaust manifold sorted out. Do not even go to higher rpms. This manfiold will give huge amount of stress on your exhaust valves and internals of the cylinder because its choking all the exhaust. This is why your not getting performance from the engine.

we are getting same performance as we are getting on the origional manifold before.yes ur right it gives stress to the engine but its temporaray

4 pipes to main hub and one pipe to back of car from hub, donest cost lot more than this,

header is not for looks.

but as you said, its made, money spent, so be it. car is drivable without noise so thats good:)
