WHO told you in what university that multi tip plugs would increase HP or power, if you feel any difference, its probably because your old plugs were worse than dog poop. Using original plugs would give you the same power.
multi tip plugs are used in engines that have high CR and a heavy ignition system (whose specs are more close to welding equipment) - and mostly are used for longevity
I have a set of Bosch Platinum 4 plugs that were used in a MB engine for 50,000 kms - then in a Honda Accord engine for 100,000 kms - when I lost 1 plug I gave them to a freind who has a charade with a beefy ignition coil. still running good for 40,000 kms - in total they have performed good for 190,000 kms in different engines - only with high capacity ignition coils (the original Honda Accord carby ignition coil produces 22Kvolts).
Using them with a weak system resulted in retarded timing and bogging
the carby accord has been using NGK platinum single tip heat range 6 plugs for 100,000 kms now, no problems so far
they did not increase power/hp or any torque - the car performs like original new specs, pulls strong and no bogging, noise, heat etc.
