40k KM on a sports Bike from USA to LAHORE SOLO Mission

Spotted this mean machine when i went in the Custom Clearance compound to pick up my bike.. I asked the manager there if i can leave my bike and take this but he didnt let me. I asked him if we can make a deal and he can let me swoop this baby out, but he didnt want to bother. A true beauty.

I traded the machine for pedals again today to explore the city of Berlin. I got a chance to probe history as i made my way from the Berlin Wall to Hitler's office.

i just asked a local here if Berlin means City of bear and she laughed and said no thats just a joke. Berlin actually means The city in the swamp.

1. How should Moin Khan enter Pakistand?
2. What should be the best route?
3. what are the dangers ?

Good to see Khan's travelogue. Regarding this query, many people who do overland enter Pakistan via Iran, however some have done it through Russia into China and finally into Pakistan at Khunjerab Pass. Essentially these are the only two viable routes overland into Pakistan. Though the better route would be via Turkey into Iran and eventually enter Pakistan. The dangers are always there while you are doing overland in Asia and you've to face them as these approach you. I'm not sure whether you should continue driving yourself after reaching Queta or should ship your bike to your intended final destination via train.

when in Iran, I recommend driving down to Bunder Abbass and shipping your bike to Karachi. There is a larger group of car and bike enthusiasts that would be willing to help you in Karachi than in Quetta.

However if you do decide to cross over at Zahidan you can always accompany a convoy of freight trucks or commercial vehicles and find safety in numbers. Whatever you do.i.e quetta or Karachi, do not travel after dark and let a lot of people know your whereabouts without actually advertising it on the net.
