@hashooo@levin
found a good web page regarding 4AGE 20V engine
i hope it will help u a lot
another good link for detailed information regarding 4A-GE/4A-GZE engines
http://www.club4ag.com/technical_main.htm
Hope the following helps. I may be slightly off as vacume hosing pipes are usually bent or out of shape..but should be a accurate enough.
1.Brake vacuum from side of throttle 1 behind butterfly (big hole) 2.Fuel return to tank (from regulator) 3.Fuel return to tank (to fuel tank) 4.Brake vacuum from side of throttle 4 behind butterfly (big hole) 5.Idle Speed Control Valve (ISCV entry)
Since engine capacity is the same as that of any other toyota 1.6. By increasing the number of valves, we are actually the reducing the resistance by the piston during the fuel suction. Thus one get more acceleration with the engine having same block.
I think if the accelerator is pressed gently, and RPM doesnot go above 3000revs, then the average should be the same as that of any 1.6 toyota engine........

fli gti,, nice pics showing vaccumm links..
Considering the mechanical complexity of the motor, it has fairly simple vaccum hosing.
Interesting subject, I like these threads then the ones about arguments, lol!
hello!interesting topic...hmm.. seems like 4AGE 20V is much popular than any other motor.......sure i will get one but won't know how much years it takes :P......anywazy its a best motor in 1.6L every made.........Thanxxx
Nice diplay Pic!! lol
gr8 topic what i would like to know is that i have been told there is a bhp difference btwn the silver top and the black top is that correct ?
There is. The ST is around 145hp and the BT 165.
thanks 1 more thing silver top ecu on black top y cant be it fixed ?
fli: when you tell em SAE some people use it as negatives about toyota low hp and overatings by maufacturers and start promoting other stuff without any solid back up support. we already trying to remove the halo effect seen on here of the average person age 20 ard who is worried about winning a race rather than enjoying his/her ride. What happens is some people will start rating hp of other engines of the brochures and start comparing hp of sohc and dohc engines with ST/ BT and Z dohc. what i am doing is to give an open picture everything out in front plus a test ride look this is what i have, this is what it is all about and this is where we go from here. yaar, no harm is rating 145hp to ST or 165hp BT, half the guys get confused,, i ve seen that before.
putting a wrong ecu on wrong engine will burn the ecu. plus pinout is diffirent. one a map other is afm
