Hi guys

we have just done an experiment and with the grace of all mighty Allah we are able to run 4efte on honda po8 ecu

i don’t see anything extra ordinary in it, u people just sorted out the ECU wires & connected it to the Engine, u people have not designed any stuff new, i am more curious about the fuel economy & emission control ...

bro people have used honda ecus for nissan toyota suzukis and many others there are gazillion people toyota is easy because they both share the same firing order - secondly there are other ways - actually many ways to set all this up you can also used the stock toyota sensors it all comes down to the tuners way of putting up things together - None the less great work done by AWAD

Thanks a lot everyone. And yes I've done a 3sgte as well. As for the ecu guy why didnt you do it in the first place??. I can sort out my schematic data and come up with a better board controller. Look stop catching in fame by jumping in between and praising urself.If I had the time and money to experiment I would've done it a long time ago. You should've done it urself earlier now you can't do anything about it. Starting an engine without a gearbox and no rolling resistance is the easiest thing in the world. People in shershah and shoba do it everyday. I'm not a tech geek or an engineering nerd geez I didnt even take physics in A-levels but I can use my brain. I'm the first person in pakistan to do it SUCCESSFULLY on a 4e and 3s. Doing it on a 4efte is a rare thing in the world. As for the stand alone costs. An emanage (still a piggyback) costs 70K. Power fc 1lac. AEM EMS V4(that isn't plug n play as well) 90k or so. Zubair under rated the cost he didnt include the cost for the ecu,3/4 bar map sensor and a tune off course. But still its way less then the cost of an emanage and yet standalone as well.

I would love to support and research the capabilities of this ECU on a real working car that has real load. I am in favor of people who love to do new things in the field of automotive. You just had to be polite and try n praise what others do. Instead of your negative construction try to be a little positive. You say your ECU is universal?? How many CAS and Crank Angle sensors does it support. Which type of the above mentioned are supported here? Which software do you use?? Which type of injection? Which type of ignition? Which type of injectors does it support? Does it support both Alpha-N and VE tuning?? I would like to see the software you use for this ecu. Please post it up so we can have a good look at what you have to offer.

Awadkhan and Hameeds01, You guys shouldnt be fighting over such a thing and proving your superiority over the other. You both did something which is pretty useful and something which most guys here wouldnt even bother trying. Engine management systems are expensive and most people are looking for such cheaper alternatives. You guys should try to be some kind of help for each other so that something productive can come out of this. Its impressive how you took the initial step and now you should probably work on improving it Goodluck

You cannot use toyota sensors they work opposite of honda's.

there is a away you have to alter the tps sensor voltage signal - becus toyota's arn't that steep as of hondas !but thats a hassle using honda sensors are much practical
