You don't need any specific essentials...everything is available along the whole route... Just one thing though since you will be achieving elevation swiftly after sost enroute to Khunjarab top....keep a continuous in-take of water as the oxygen level up there is low as compared to what our bodies are used to and one might be in a pickle if not hydrated properly...
