I cant stop myself from fantasizing the trip you made. MashAllah.

I wanted to get some info. I was hoping to plan a trip to northern areas with my family in 1st or 2nd week of january 2016 however winter is fast approaching and i guess my options would be getting limited.

Can you or anybody else on PW tell me where can i plan to take my family
1. Murree is like stupidity so dont suggest that
2. Have been to nathiagali a lot so not in a mood
3. No constraints regarding budget and length of trip

I have already been to Naran twice, kashmir once and swat like three times.
I personally want to go to kashmir again. Will it be feasible to visit kashmir in JAN. If so, how far will i b able to explore the kashmir valley

I heard from someone that Naran is not doable in the winters cux of snow everywhere. Any expert views / suggestions

I think you will be able to go till sharda in neelum valley in january, but that too on a jeep. rawalakot, banjosa are also good options but i'd prefer neelum valley over these two.
asif bhai @asifcae can give you the exact idea about neelum as he has been there in winters.
and yes naran will not be doable in january most probably. you can take any info related to naran from Naveed Khalil 0336-9879979. he will give you the latest info about naran whenever you need it. he runs a naran based adventure club

Purchased tickets for visit to altit fort, and our guide took us towards it,
Saw these gardens, and we kept looking at them for quite a few minutes, they were truly magical. i had already seen s.m bukhari's pictures of the gardens and loved them but watching them in real was too good an experience,
