We came to know that a german couple was staying in the hotel as well, and it was the lady's birthday. So their tour operator had arranged a musical night for her. and very were the ''begaani shadi mei abdullah diwana''

We literally had dinner in 5mins and were back in the main lobby to enjoy the dances.

We had a very good nights sleep, though it was short lived
myself and shaheer slept at 1am and were up again at 4am to see sunrise. it was all dark, we weren't sure about the coordinates of the point from where you see the famous golden moments. we had torchs with us and an eerie cold silence surrounding us. we just saw a path going up from outside the hotel and decided that this should be the one. not knowing where we were going we kept moving on, still unsure about our destination. Never have i seen shaheer this scared ever before
Anyhow we did reach a point which was overlooking the whole of the valley, we could see lights of karimabad in the valley and we decided that yehi hai wo point
Sat and waited for dawn
to our bad luck it was a cloudy morning and slowly light became better but we didn't witness those forst rays of sun on rakaposhi and spantik

We had breakfast at Eagle's nest, which was complimentary.
Breakfast was very exquisite and tasty. Checked out from the hotel and left for Khunjerab Pass.
Stay at eagle's nest was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. highly recommended.

We reached attabad tunnel at 11:15pm and came to know that it is closed and will open in 15minutes. they told us that as work for ventilation is still under process, the tunnel opens from 11:30 am to 1pm and 7pm to 6am. We had already planned that we will not use the tunnel while going to khunjerab, we wanted to experience the boat ride along with our car.
it was a big risk, but jb tk risk na ho maza he kahan ata hai
Lo jee faer assi gaddi nu lake di janib mor ditta and what we saw did not look real, it seemed as if we were seeing an edited image with life in it.

Please share your equipment details, what I have seen in one pic that you are using Nikon 7000 but couldn't figure out the lens?

I just sold my Canon T5i and now planning to purchase Nikon 7200 I just love the picture quality of this machine.

What is your suggestion for me?

in this trip i used 2 nikon d7000s with 18-55mm, 18-140mm and a 50mm 1.8
and most of the pictures are taken from 18-55.
i prefer using 18-55 over 18-140 because of it's sharper and better results. 50mm 1.8 was used only for portraits, which i am not sharing on this thread, but yes it's a superb lens.
as for d7200, it's a superb machine. go for it!!
