I had copied this from Facebook. They had just removed it from all their pages a couple of minutes ago. Not sure why, because they had posted this on multiple channels including Facebook and Instagram.

It was a completely foolish strategy to arrogantly launch the new Sportage at such exorbitantly high prices.

They needed a reality check.

To claim any major market share they must bring it down further. Nobody’s interested in buying a Sportage today.

I think the sportage alpha has no competition at this price point. It will sell.

The Sportage Alpha is pretty barebones IMO. At that price, there is some good competition.

The 5 seater Oshan X7 FutureSense might be more value. There's also the MG HS facelift as well which is a bit smaller but also cheaper and better equipped. You can also go fully electric at this price with the BYD Atto 3. There are several options now and likely more coming soon.
