Korean brand's crossover is also inferior in this instance to the Chinese one or am I off-base here?

I've seen more FL H6 HEVs on roads than the Sportage L. If I'm in the market to buy, I don't see any reason why I would get the Sportage L HEV over the H6 HEV, let alone the PHEV.

Both of the vehicles are mostly same just one has more gimmicks than the other.

I just don't base my reason to buy something just because everyone is getting like sheep heading towards cliff.

H6 HEV doesn't even give you spare bruh while buyers keep bragging wheel turning itself after going through like 5 menu to park in 5 minutes. It's the peace of mind of owning Sportage L having 18 inch rim with 60 profile going through bumps not having to hear jarring sounds or feel.

LMC need to learn a thing or two from Sazgar's excellent marketing and customer relationship. They've developed Haval's image as premium vehicle as best value.

Sportage L has lotta potential I believe.

Can you please let us know the specs which are more in haval h6 as compared to sportage? I mean the specs that actually matter? I can think of ventilated seats as a definite plus in haval. Also i have heard that the suspension in haval is a bit on the stiffer side? I felt it while driving the previous haval h6, not sure about the new one.

Exterior wise haval is better than sportage while i think the interior of the sportage is better. Your thoughts?

Just got the Sportage L HEV after previously driving the Sportage AWD — and honestly, it feels like an upgrade in almost every aspect.

Pros:

• Smooth, powerful and comfortable ride
• Spacious interior with excellent sound dampening
• Improved AC compared to the previous Sportage
• Attractive design and great interior
• Crisp and responsive infotainment system

Cons:

• No ventilated seats (plastic dummy buttons in their place are disappointing)
• Wireless charging is noticeably slow
• FCA cannot be turned off permanently
• Some missing features you’d expect at this level
• Harman Kardon audio is decent, but not as impressive as advertised
• Hard/Dummy buttons even in the top variant

Performance & Mileage:
I’ve driven less than 500 KM so far, averaging around 11–12 KM/L. One minor annoyance is that the car always defaults to ECO mode after every restart, regardless of the drive mode selected before.

Issue/Concern:
I currently set FCA to “Warning,” yet the car has still applied automatic braking twice — both times sudden and honestly terrifying. I don’t know what triggered it, so I’m considering disabling FCA altogether to avoid further unexpected braking.

I think the (new) Tucson has a similar FCA issue or nearly similar. Very jarring and scary and very much unlike my exp. with haval in which turning sensitivity down to lowest works very well. And the sensitivity levels stick between restarts,

Hi All,

I am deciding to buy a new car. I am deciding between 2 cars, Sportage L HEV or H6 2.0T.

With new facelift H6 2.0T paddle shifters were removed, have you faced any issues controlling gears in uphill climbs or downhill engine breaking.

And drive wise (handling & road grip) which car is better among the 2 above. Please give advise if you've driven both.

The reason I am shortlisting 2.0T instead of HEV of H6 is because I think HEVs performance depends on battery level like on paper it is better but would it always be able put its power down unlike ICE car you full engine power all the time. Would like to know from H6 HEV owner.

With Sportage, that's the only variant with most features hence shortlisted the HEV.
