Yes per head cost was approx 9500. Trip cost was reduced by camping. We stayed in camps in Hunza, Astore and Deosai. Out of 5 nights, we spent only 2 nights in hotels.
Jalkhad
Mighty River Indus!
Road between Chillas and Raikot Bridge
We reached Gilgit BUT my jeep's brakes stopped working. My classfellow (Akmal Hussain) who is a Gilgiti helped us find a mechanic. We bought a new brake, got tuning done and changed oil as well. We spent approx 6 hours at this workshop. Akmal stayed with us throughout this time.
After getting our Jeep ready, we left for Hunza. On our way we stopped at Rakaposhi View Point.
Our camp in Hunza. This camping site was on the roof of the shops. We paid them Rs. 100 per person (Camps were our own)
Next day we visited Eagle Nest, Altit/Baltit Forts, Attabad Lake and then we left for Astore
