Pulled over at Minawar, a place that comes just 17km ahead of gilgit city, we hopped out and entered into a road side garden of apples and apricots to grab some...There we saw two men sitting under a shady tree. They gave us a warm welcome and offered us some apples & apricots..(those men can be seen in the pic)... 1/2
One of them gave me his cell no and asked me to call him a day before our departure and we would meet him at the same place...we asked him about the reason, he replied (je idher abe sirf apples or apricots hain, mai oper jata hu or apky liye fresh pomegranates and grapes laonga..) anyhow we continued our journey, and didn't take him serious, but one day before our return i called him, he said that he will be there at the same spot and would be waiting for us..Upon arriving there i was totally surprised, he kept his words and was there with a bag full of pomegranates and grapes along with apples and apricots,,,
That man can be seen in the pic, the one on left side...
Indeed Gilgit baltistan is a place full of hospitality, this is just one living example...

Mesmerizing view of garden...The serenity wasn't allowing us to leave....but we had to go...
