It is very easy. First thing to do is to check how fast can a CD70 go. Then take a marker and write 120 at that certain point on the speedometer. and Bamn!!! next time you go fast, CD70 will touch 120. Lol

Jokes aside, a friend of mine owns a modified 1985 CD70 which he used for a very long tour of several borders of Pakistan in early 2000's. He is not into street racing and I am not sure if that bike can clock 120 km/h, but I have seen that bike easily keep up with CG125s even when carrying a pillion rider. Next time he is around, I shall ask him the details.

shouter wheel base increases pickup but reduces speed mien is 1990
i think weight also effect because old models weight less.....

I dont think shorter or longer wheelbase has anything to do with a bike being fast or feeling fast. He modified his bike for riding in harsh conditions. One look at the bike and you know it means business. I dont remember all the details but he had replaced shocks, carb, and ignition system. Modified the exhaust, replaced tyres with fat ones. I dont know what else he had changed in the engine or modified. I never saw him racing anyone or riding fast but I can tell you one thing from personal experience, it was way more quicker than your run of the mill CD70.

So shorter wheelbase makes a bike feel quicker but in case of CD70, I dont think this will make a significant difference. Experts like Sir Xulfiqar can explain this better than I could.
