Beeberg@ will keep eyes on a 2-door 74/75. Have seen a 2-door Datsun 120-Y, sometime ago. Deal 70k main final ho rahi thee...mugar KHI number thaa token Pindi main pay ho raha tha, so I backed out.

i wrote the answer and it timed out as i posted. so have to write it again. summarzing what i told earlier.

as i am going to buy a 74 model which is already more than 30 years old, i will only look if it is major accidented or have some stolen record.
beside these if it is repainted, engine swapped or registered with any city number or with duplicate book it does not matter at all. if one is buying any car for family use and somehow 20 years old better to see all aspects i agree with u.
will be needing more assistance from u bhai.

a second thought is about diabetes.

last night i was playing with front shocks of my 85 charade got detomaso ones for them and fitted and it was the most difficult DIY (risky) i have ever done.
i managed to bend a patri to grip the coils of spring then with the help of screw and bolt i tried to squeeze the spring coils. i added this hand made jugaarh for both sides to squeeze it equally and i was trying to position the end of spring in the upper and lower cap top of shock. suddenly one of it broke and due to other one i hardly escaped from bad bad injuries.

so even if i get proper hands on experience and knowledge i have urge and passion to build a car at home. but look at my age, i am too young to invest. just saving from my earnings and trying level best to make a wild machine.

need comments about DIY too

Thats the only thing which stops me from doing such big tasks at home.

Better invest in some heavy duty tools first because u know "Safety First"

saqib bhai, next time u visit lahore do come at my home i will show the tools and toolkits i have at home. i know safety comes first thats why i try level best and learnt many things from my dad about safety while doing DIYs. once i pulled up the car on jack and went inide trying to take some hardly fitted thing out and car was switing on jack, later dad took me aaray haathon
once i went with imranbhatti and shabo hushiyar puri to get some serious tools so again i think i should go to get them.
