I will change out the bumpers to chrome, that should add aesthetically. Car is mostly complete and I must admit it sounds
far better then expected.

In the mean time managed to get couple of very rare parts for this build, cant wait!!!

Visited the shop after a long time and this is whats happening.

next time I will get a video, I cant drive it just yet because I need to get the dash
installed so the car can be inspected. Once that is done then I can get it insured in order to drive it

i have a question please - @Oracles, when you restore an old de-registered car, and swap an engine different from original, what are requirements of DOT/MVR, do you have to report old engine as scrapped ? in terms of engine number.

Strictly speaking on passenger cars in California.

There are no DOT/MVR requirements for vehicles 1975 or older plus an exemption from smog tests, having a title or bill of sale is enough register.
1976 or newer cars are required to pass a smog check and in case of engine swap it needs to pass a BAR test.
BAR test is designed to help improve air quality. Once a car has passed the BAR test a sticker is issued and the said vehicle
needs to pass a smog check every other year in order to be legally driven in California.

Bohat alla Kamran bhai, another beauty indeed. One gets lucky enough in abroad because parts are available there for such antique cars for restoration. Here a lot of classic cars in shape of scrap are lying around but no one even think to touch them because of parts :-#

I want the car to be ready and free of any repair before I put then on because they are just too perfect for me to take a chance of damaging them at these shops.

I drove the car around the block few times already just to test and feel the car out. Cant wait to take it home... soon real soon

Thank you Shaheryar, yes these cars and their parts were cheap enough but for past 5-7 years prices are rapidly on the rise all thanks to JDM craze sweeping USA/EU and JAPAN. case in point is RA25 tail lights I bought my first pair 10 years ago for 200 now they are 1500 for a good pair that is if you lucky enough to find them. Remember many of these cars are out of production for 25-40 years now therefor picking is thinning out at a fast pace. We are just starting to see some items like fenders and hoods in fiberglass being reproduced and I hope the trend continues.

All polished up.
Got it registered today.

Couldn't drive it to DMV plus I didn't want the inspector to hear the exhaust.

Still few things left to do as you can see but I am pretty happy with it.
