Ansar Bhai, yesterday was the first day of free time I had in more then 3 months.

I painted the bottom of the car and installed some trim pieces. I need to take the car back to electrician
to have the reverse and interior lights working properly. He did an excellent job with speed-hut GPS gauges.

Chrome bumpers are with me and will be installed once everything is sorted.

I replaced the drivers seat with genuine TRD bucket seat that my Trueno came with only because BMW seat I had was too tall.
Some of the dash trim pieces I had given to have them skin in real carbon fiber went missing.

Off topic. I've almost completed a 3sge swap in a 79 Mazda 323 and was thinking of putting in an Altezza ODO. Would appreciate your input and whether it's available easily where you're at!

I am in California and Altezza were never imported state side therefore parts have to be imported.

Depending on what engine you are mating with. T50,T55,T57,T58 or59 are all RWD

aoa, I have been a silent follower for the last few years. I followed your projects. I always knew I would do something same but I couldnt find a nice car in Pakistan. Couple of years ago I moved to america from Pakistan and right now I am living in Michigan. Recently I have started looking for a 240z or celica fastback but I am unsuccessful so far.
I just wanted to know how much do I need to spend to get a nice celica or 240z, and how much budget do I need to keep for a complete overhaul just like you did with ur corona. Any leads will be highly appreciated.

Hello,

You are on the wrong coast to be looking for early 240Z or liftbacks. If you want something fairly decent with minimum rust,
start looking at west coast. Budget depends on few things but if you want a one off with good mods and will sub out the work
then $20-30K would be a safe bet. Can it be done cheaper? Hell yes!

Join various celica groups on facebook , nice cars pop up for sale every now and then , there was recently a very nice one ( but with thoes ugly us bumpers) for sale was asking 6k i guess.

Yea I kind a figured it out that Michigan is not a best place to look for these cars.
Few years ago I saw a greyish celica on ur post. It looked really nice.
How much did u get that for ??

Greyish Celica is mine bought it 13 years ago from original owner with little over 47K documented miles for 3k
